MILE A MINUTE QUILT CLASS
Date: Thursday; April 11
Time: 6-9pm
Cost: $20.00

We will start the evening off with Pizza.

Then we sit and sew and sew and sew or if you choose to participate; THE RACE IS ON!

The first person to complete the sewing of their quilt top, will win a prize.

Seams must be sewn 1/4", no crooked tracks here.

If you have or nave not ever made a mile a minute quilt, this a quick and fun way to make a quilt.

(Remember to have your jelly roll pieced into a 2 1/2" x 1600" strip; pieced seams sewn on the diagonal/straight and pressed. I would also recommend having 3-4 pre-wound bobbins.)

BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS INSTRUCTIONS & SUPPLY LIST

This is a very fun and quick quilt to make. (Also, a great way to use up some of your scraps!)

What you will need: 40 2 1/2 inch strips times width of fabric (WOF)

Before class, sew strips together at a 45 degree angle to make one loooooooooong strip (approximately 1,600 inches). If using scrap pieces, just use a straight seam to sew ends together. It’s very easy to chain stitch the ends together. If sewing at a 45 degree angle, trim ends to 1/4” and iron seams open. If using a straight seam, iron seam to one side.

CRAZY CURVES QUILT CLASS
Date: Thursdays; April 25th & May 16th
Time: 6-9 pm both nights
Cost: $35.00

This class will teach you how to sew circles.

There is *1* Janome Jem available for use in class. Availability is first come basis.

Groups: If you and/or a group of you have a class you wish to take, let me know and we will schedule it for you.

It is always fun to get together with a group and learn new techniques.

Class Policy:
Registration and payment for your class should be done at the shop at your earliest convenience. Lack of enrollment will make it necessary to cancel a class. If class fee is not paid at registration time, you will not be considered as registered. Pick up your class requirements sheet with your paid registration.

Refunds will be given for a cancellation up to one week prior to class start day. If canceling later than one week prior, no refund will be given. Transferring to a different class may be done a full week prior to class start, after which, the class fee is not eligible for a transfer or refund. If the instructor finds it necessary to cancel a class, a full refund will be given to the students with a paid registration. Please call ahead if you need to cancel due to weather.

This club is for all types of machines.

We will meet one night a month on every fourth Wednesday, from 6:30-8:30pm.

There will be yearly charge of $20.00 to be paid on the first night you come. This club can be joined at any time.
